Minutes 12/2/25, Holiday Potluck

  1. Call to Order by Dale at 6:10 pm, quorum present.

Attendance

  • Present: Dale McDonald, Melanie Anderson, Scott Bartlebaugh, Lisa Dwiggins, Julie Fisk, Carla Garbis, Dolores Morales, Sonja New, Lindsey Pannell, Kent Peterson, Iris Wesselman
  • Excused: Jena Goodman, April Gray, Daniel Haaf, Mary Wais
  • Absent: none
  • Guests: Margaret Faria, Patti Bartlebaugh, Loeta Rogers, Armando Carrasco, Wayne Vico, Gary Dwiggins
  1. Introductions: Armando Carrasco introduced himself. He is the District Representative for the Board of Supervisors’ District V Supervisor, Shanelle Scales-Preston.
  2. Additions/Changes of Order to Agenda: none.
  3.  Minutes for 11/4/25 approved.
  1. Announcements: Holly Saturday at the Museum is 12/13/25.
  1. Treasurer’s Report: Scott distributed the Treasurer’s report dated 12/1/25. It showed a balance of $13,149.83 in the checking account and $42,041.82 in the savings account. Income for November included a $1,000 grant from the Community Foundation for the Daffodil Project, and $703 from the November Residential Cleanup. Expenses included $1,000.88 for the Daffodil Project, $123.72 for the Halloween event, $150 for the Plaza Cleanup stipend, and $73.60 for Plaza utilities. Scott has still not received a response to the $2,106 request for reimbursement from the Rodeo Renewed Community Benefit Fund. 
  1. New Business: Slate of Officers for 2026. Dale suggested that the same slate of officers for the past year be continued for next year, unless someone else has an interest in an office. The vote will take place at the January 6th meeting. Thus far, those up for re-election include: Dale McDonald, President; Mary Wais, First Vice President; Julie Fisk, Second Vice President; Scott Bartlebaugh, Treasurer; Lindsey Pannell, Corresponding Secretary; and Sonja New, Recording Secretary.
  • Parking Lot: Committee Reports, Finance Policy Review, Budget for 2026, Membership Drive (banners), Shipping Container at CCSD, Residential Cleanups and Town Wide Cleanups in 2026, Nominations for new board members, brochure, sideshows, Adopt-A-Median, Public Art, Rodeo Renewed Community Benefit Fund
  • Adjournment at 6:25 pm for Holiday Potluck Celebration.
