Promoting dialogue with 6 successive county Supervisors and other government officials by hosting countless public meetings

• Gaining county, regional and Caltrans’ recognition as the strongest advocacy group to represent Crockett

• Supporting formation of the Crockett Community Foundation for enhanced financial benefits from the then-new cogeneration plant

• Supporting creation of the Crockett Community Services District so as to (1) keep the Crockett Community Center open through local ownership and (2) to enhance local government and local control

• Funding and building the Downtown Plaza, providing its ongoing maintenance and funding water and electric utilities

• Promoting and overseeing the undergrounding of utilities and sidewalk improvements along downtown Pomona Street and 2nd Avenue

• Spearheading the installation of 35 street lights in the downtown area of Pomona Street and 2nd Avenue, along with providing ongoing maintenance, to enhance public safety and civic pride

• Building the retaining wall on Pomona (east of 6th Avenue) to create more parking spaces

• Intervening in the planning process for large developments, including Vista Carquinez, Crockett Landing and Pointe Crockett

• Intervening in the planning process for large construction projects, including Crockett Cogeneration and the Carquinez Bridge projects

• Organizing twice-yearly Town Cleanups by local volunteers

• Staging twice-yearly Residential Cleanups to provide residents with enhanced recycling and trash disposal services

• Attacking roadside dumping by organizing “Adopt-A-Road” volunteers and “Trash Talk & Walk” volunteers to collect litter from Crockett Blvd, Pomona, Wanda, Loring and Rolph Avenues

• Planting numerous street trees, along with smaller beautification projects

• Creating Measure L, the “Lighting & Landscaping” parcel tax ordinance, to give Crockett residents a chance to vote on funding town maintenance
