The Crockett Improvement Association is a volunteer organization that was formed in 1971 by community members in response to a growing perception of civic decline. Fundamentally, they saw the need to enhance communication with Contra Costa County officials, who were the only local government serving Crockett at that time. They also saw the need for beautification and maintenance projects to promote civic pride. For 50-plus years the CIA has been serving our community in many ways, and we entreat new volunteers to join us as we continue to maintain our old projects and to advance new ideas.
